Born in Ayrshire, Scotland to South African parents but growing up on the north coast of Devon in South West England, Joseph has always been surrounded by nature but also curious about the world beyond the horizon.

In September 2012 at the age of 16, Joseph won a scholarship to attend the world’s first fully mobile, travelling high school, THINK Global School. Studying in three countries each year he lived and studied in Argentina, Bhutan, USA, India, Tanzania, Japan, New  Zealand, Costa Rica and graduated in Greece. During this time, he actively shared his travels through his blog and photography.

Joseph is currently taking a year’s interruption to his BSc. in International Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response at the University of Manchester in order to pursue work experience opportunities and achieve a more real-world informed viewpoint to complement his academic experience.

Currently in: Melbourne, Australia.
